LeTv has entered in ever growing Indian smartphone market with affordable yet powerful smartphone Le 1s . I think this is the phone that offers the same value for money which Xiaomi offered with Mi3 a year back . So the device we got is a review unit so the actual version of Indian retail unit will definitely vary from ours.
The specifications written on the box were in chinese and booklets inside the box were also in chinese , but in Indian retail unit it will be in English . Box contents are handset , a micro USB type C cable and a wall charger adapter. This phone supports fast charging and it takes around 1.5hrs to fully charge with provided charger.Note that it gets warm while charging.
The design of the phone is elegant and attractive . Whole device is built out of metal except top & bottom part of the back for antenna reception. On the front you have earpiece, LED notification light and a 5 mp front facing camera. Below that you have 5.5″ FHD 1920*1080p display protected by corning gorilla glass 3. Three capacitive buttons are backlit. On the right side you get power on-off switch and volume rockers . Both of these buttons are quite tactile and easy to press. At the top you get 3.5 mm audio jack and an IR blaster through which you can control your TV . On the left side you have SIM ejector tray and it has two slots for the SIM – Micro and Nano. NO hybrid slot so no micro SD card expansion .At the bottom you get a speaker grill and a primary microphone & also USB type-C port for charging. At the back you have 13 mp auto focus rear camera with a single LED flash , a secondary noise cancelling microphone . There is a finger print scanner which works really really fast and accurate.
Initial impressions of the camera were decent but don’t expect too much out of camera. Overall the first impressions were nice and we will be coming back with full review once we test out the phone to its limits.
